About The Artist

Soleil is a contemporary artist whose creative practice was born from a journey of recovery and renewal. After surviving a serious assault, she turned to art as a means of rehabilitation, a process that became both transformative and profoundly healing.

Drawing upon her spiritual heritage and intuitive gifts, Soleil channels emotion and memory into her work, exploring the intersection between the physical and the etheral. She works primarily with encaustic wax, valuing its natural, tactile qualities and its ability to hold fragility and permanence.

Her paintings invite the viewers into a shared space of reflection and imagination. Through shifting layers of colour and texture, Soleil evokes the childlike wonder of seeing shapes in clouds - the moments where fantasy and perception intertwine. Her art seeks to reconnect audiences with their own inner landscapes, reminding them of the restorative and  transcendent power  of creativity...
